SLIM SUB- Passive Radiator Subwoofer Boxes
The new PBS boxes are made with maximum sub-performance in a small format. This task is difficult, so we used back-to-basics tricks to reach the performance goals. The boxes have two subs but one of them is a passive radiator. The
radiator makes the difference by helping to extend the lower bass frequencies and help the normal sub perform much better in the closed box. We also made it down-firing to use the extra gain you get with this kind of corner loading. The 2×10 box has a single 2Ohm coil and the 2×8 box has a 4Ohm coil that fits perfectly when using smaller monoblocks like the ZXM500.1
