A new division for professional audio

In 2026 GS Audio inaugurates the new PROFESSIONAL DIVISION, a line of loudspeakers developed to meet the most stringent requirements of the live, tuning and high-end PA installation world.This new reality was born from deep experience in the high-performance car audio sector, with the aim of transferring the same precision construction, reliability and customization possibilities to the field of professional audio systems.

Each transducer in the line is the result of careful design, where acoustic engineering and mechanical design work in synergy to achieve linear response, low distortion, and prolonged thermal stability.

 

Performance and design

The 12F4-2200W is a 12″ (300 mm) mid-bass transducer with a 100 mm (4″) voice coil, designed for applications requiring extended midrange response and precise bass control.

It is an ideal choice for compact reflex systems, two-way paired with 1"-1.4″-2″ drivers, and for use in stage and front-fill monitors.

Other features:

  • 300mm corrugated cone: made of pressed paper treated with water-repellent agents, it offers high mechanical rigidity even at maximum excursion, taking full advantage of the 30mm long coil. Its curved geometry helps maintain controlled sound dispersion and natural reproduction of voices and acoustic instruments, even at high sound pressures.

  • 100mm copper coil: uses IN-OUT technology on high-strength GFT fiberglass backing. The inner and outer winding improves thermal dissipation and linearity, ensuring stability even under prolonged stress.

 

Magnetic system and cooling

220 mm FERRITE MAGNETIC GROUP: optimized for maximum flux density and force factor (BL). T-yoke's rear ventilation holes promote direct air circulation in the air gap, reducing heat buildup and contributing to the reduction of harmonic distortion and intermodulation, for clean and faithful reproduction even at extreme SPL levels.

CONCAVE CARBON DUST PARK: Absorbs and dissipates heat generated by the voice coil across the front surface of the cone; the concave shape improves internal ventilation and reduces cancellations typical of conventional dust covers.

 The combined action of these two elements ensures superior thermal management, enabling the transducer to sustain high powers, in musical regime, for long periods without loss of efficiency.

 

Versions and applications

The 12F4-2200W and 12F4-1900SW models share cone, coil and magnetic structure, but differ in mechanical configuration and intended use.

  • W VERSION: employs a dual centering driver and is optimized for the mid-bass and midrange, ideal in combination with 1"-1.4"-2" compression drivers in professional two-way systems.

  • SW VERSION: adopts a single centering device, offering greater excursion and deeper frequency response, perfect for woofer or subwoofer uses.
